Overview
- Exploration-based approach focusing on high-quality, multi-zone, repeatable targets holding large resource-in-place and long-life reserves potential in the Deep Basin of west central Alberta
- Pursue horizontal development of multiple zones including the Wilrich, Notikewin, Cardium, Bluesky, Montney and Glauconitic, plus other emerging opportunities
- Maintain low-risk vertical and horizontal production base at the core Ansell/Sundance asset to provide cash flow for growth-oriented activities at Ansell/Sundance and elsewhere
- Pursue technical excellence and apply current exploration and well drilling/completions technologies to reduce risks and maximize per well economics
- Pursue high working interests in focused land areas, control production and operate infrastructure in order to control costs, field activities and the pace of capital investment
- Expand low-risk down-spaced drilling inventory on concentrated land base
- Step out carefully to new exploration areas that complement Open Range’s high-quality asset base
