- Exploration-based approach focusing on high-quality, multi-zone, repeatable opportunities with long-life reserves in the Deep Basin of west central Alberta
- Maintain low-risk production base to provide cash flow for growth-oriented activities
- Pursue technical excellence and apply current exploration and well drilling/completions technologies to reduce risks and maximize per well production and reserves
- Pursue increasing working interest as exploration risk is reduced and technical confidence grows
- Control production, infrastructure and operations in order to maintain efficient field costs and control focus of field activities and pace of capital investment
- Expand future low-risk infill drilling inventory on concentrated land base
- Step out carefully to new exploration areas that complement Open Range’s high quality asset base
